Ornella Godard

Ornella began her career as a teacher-researcher at various French universities. She studies cognitive processes and brain responses related to the recognition of faces and emotional facial expressions. She teaches experimental psychology, statistical data analysis and cognitive neuroscience. Fascinated by the many possible applications of this knowledge, particularly in marketing, she went on to set up her own consultancy firm specializing in neuromarketing and consumer neuroscience. For 4 years, she worked for various companies, advertising agencies and innovative start-ups. For the past few years, she has been working at Ipsos on an international level, helping to develop the company’s services in advertising testing, product innovation and brand monitoring, by integrating innovative tools for collecting non-verbal responses such as facial coding, eye-tracking, reaction times, physiological responses (GSR) and brain responses (EEG).
